Event Description: 14th Annual Festival of Alberta Music

EPCOR CENTRE for the Performing Arts invites Alberta-based artists to submit proposals for our exciting four-day Festival: TransCanada Alberta Music Series.

The TransCanada Alberta Music Series (formerly The Alberta Sessions) is four nights of performances and artist development opportunities for our province’s musical artists. We present individual artists and bands of diverse sound and musical genres to celebrate the songwriting and musical talent of Albertans. This series fosters Alberta artistic development and awareness of our provincial’s original-music scene.

Artists must be actively pursuing careers in the Alberta music industry and be based in Alberta. All artists must perform original songs and music.

Submission Guidelines

Please submit a completed submission form along with your CDs & press kits.
Materials submitted without a self-addressed stamped envelope will not be returned. Please do not send originals.
Artists must own the copyright for all work produced.

Submissions must arrive at EPCOR CENTRE for the Performing Arts by 4:30 pm on October 1, 2010. Thank you - performers chosen for programming only will be contacted after selection process is complete.

All applications MUST include:
• Contact information filled out on attached pdf
• Albums and press kits (where available)
• Complete list of the performers with your band (all members must be Alberta-based)
• Detailed list of your technical needs for performance
