Patti Pon Joins CADA as Director, Resource Development

Patti Pon has joined CADA as Director, Resource Development.
CADA is pleased to announce that Patti Pon, a well-respected member of the Calgary arts sector, avid civic volunteer and engaged Calgarian has joined the CADA team in the one-year term role of Director, Resource Development.

I have long admired the work of CADA and to now have a first hand opportunity work in arts development -- for a sector I adore in a city that I LOVE is a special privilege. I look forward to realizing the possibilities for our City and our sector.”
Prior to accepting the position at CADA, Patti’s role as a principal and co-owner in consultancy Paradox Inc. aligned her experiences in providing leadership and facilitation specializing in organizational change, capacity building, strategic planning and financial management. She has held positions as Vice President, Administration for the EPCOR Centre for the Performing Arts, Technical Assistance Director at the Alberta Performing Arts Stabilization Fund (APASF) and as General Manager and Producer for a number of theatres across Western Canada.
Patti also served as a member of the Steering Committee for imagineCalgary that resulted in a 100 year vision for the city accompanied by a plan for Long Range Urban Sustainability. This 18 month, city-led, community-owned initiative was the largest community visioning and consultation process of its kind anywhere in the world.
Patti is a native Calgarian and a Top 40 Under 40 alumni. In 2011 she was recently recognized by Deloitte (Edmonton) on International Women’s Day celebrating women who personify the art of excellence.
